Temperance Wilson

“I’m Temperance. I’ve been the Lead Facilitator in the innovative Culturally Specific Accountability and Change group for Black & Latino men in Massachusetts for 5 years. Together, we uncover abusive values, ethics related to love, and reveal how genuine safety in relationships looks, sounds and feels.
I keep it real, which means having honest discussions on the ways we devalue, dehumanize, silence and strip others of their humanity, resulting in extreme discord and deep harm. We uncover both the wider systemic culture and the often hidden inner culture of abusive values. This work takes vulnerability as well as emotional authenticity.
In order to help create space for transformation, we work to dismantle the ego and put false pride aside so that we can have honest conversations, identify strengths and resources for forward movement, and add needed perspective. We work for true freedom and equality among all.”
